Sir, for me, this book is very useful as it is in a concise format, which is very helpful for a student like me preparing for competitive exams. It is easy to understand and revise.

I received the book and went through it. I really think this book will be very beneficial for someone like me who’s not able to remember all characteristics of minerals at once. The info is given in very concise yet enough manner for identifying the mineral physically or in a microscope. And special mention to the colored pics of thin section in ppl and xpl are also helpful to take the match with during thin section observation. before this, I had to search everything on the internet and still all the things about a mineral wouldn’t come up in one go. I guess it will save me a lot of time during mineral identification and the arranged manner of minerals in the book will help in remembering the properties as well.
